Uzbekistan, CSAT Discuss New Regional Investment Projects

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Uzbekistan's Deputy Minister of Investments, Industry and Trade, Ilzat Kasymov, met with Li Jinzhe, President of China's China Science Assistance Technology Group Co., Ltd. (CSAT), on 10 July to discuss prospects for implementing integrated investment projects in the country's regions.

The talks focused on the introduction of modular industrial technologies in urban development, the expansion of digital infrastructure, the modernisation of regional healthcare facilities and improvements to drinking water treatment systems.

According to the Ministry of Investments, Industry and Trade, CSAT specialises in digital management systems, the development of cross-border logistics hubs, the construction of reservoirs and hydraulic engineering facilities, the supply of specialised equipment, and projects in urban development, high-tech healthcare and the modernisation of municipal infrastructure.

Following the meeting, the two sides agreed to prepare specific project proposals on the areas of cooperation discussed as soon as possible.
