Uzbekistan exports gold worth US$3.4 billion

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- Uzbekistan increased exports of gold by 2.2 times in January-July 2019 compared to the same period of 2018, according to the data of the State Statistics Committee.

In January-July 2019, Uzbekistan exported gold worth US$3.4 billion.

At the same time, the share of gold in the export structure amounted to 31.8%.

It should be noted that Uzbekistan has increased gold exports in recent years. Gold exports in 2015 exceeded US$823.9 million, in 2016 - US$738.2 million, in 2017 - US$1.6 billion and in 2018 - US$2.91 billion.
