Uzbekistan explores medical equipment cooperation with Belarus Integral

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — A delegation from Uzbekistan led by Deputy Prime Minister Jamshid Khodjayev visited JSC Integral, the managing company of the Integral holding, where the parties discussed prospects for cooperation in the production of medical equipment.

According to Belarusian media reports, the negotiations took place within the framework of the III Forum of Regions of Belarus and Uzbekistan.

The Deputy Director General for Development and Production Preparation of JSC Integral, Maksim Maksimovich, noted that the forum has become an effective platform for developing cooperation between the enterprises of the two countries.

According to him, one of the most promising areas of interaction is medical equipment manufactured by the Belarusian enterprise.

"One of the business lines of JSC Integral is high-quality medical equipment. I think it will be of interest to our partners from Uzbekistan. This specific area is currently among our priority developments," Maksim Maksimovich noted.

He emphasized that great attention is paid to the development of the healthcare system in Belarus, which has contributed to the expansion of modern medical equipment manufacturing.

Currently, the enterprise produces a wide range of goods, including medical beds, patient monitors, artificial lung ventilators, blood pressure monitors, and thermometers. According to the company representative, the products are characterized by high quality and reliability, and they are in demand in both domestic and foreign markets.

The parties view the organization of joint production of medical equipment as one of the promising areas of cooperation.

"Today, our Uzbek partners familiarized themselves with the production capabilities of the enterprise. We presented our technologies and products. Following the visit, instructions were received to further develop potential areas of interaction," Maksim Maksimovich reported.

During the visit, a presentation of the enterprise's production capacities, technological processes, and manufactured products was organized for members of the Uzbek delegation. The negotiations marked another step in expanding industrial cooperation between Belarus and Uzbekistan.
