Uzbekistan drawn into Group E at FIFA U-17 World Cup 2026

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The draw ceremony for the FIFA U-17 World Cup was held at FIFA headquarters in Zurich, determining the group-stage composition of the tournament.

Uzbekistan’s U-17 national team was placed in Group E, where it will face Italy, Jamaica, and Côte d’Ivoire.

The FIFA U-17 World Cup 2026 will take place in Qatar from November 19 to December 13, 2026. The tournament will be the second edition under FIFA’s expanded annual format featuring 48 teams.

It is noted that Qatar’s hosting of the competition is part of a five-year cycle under FIFA’s tournament hosting arrangements.
