Uzbekistan Discusses Cooperation with 15 Korean Companies

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A meeting with representatives of a delegation organized jointly with KOTRA and bringing together executives from 15 companies from the Republic of Korea operating in the pharmaceutical and cosmetics industries was held during the international Pharma Eurasia & MedTech exhibition.

During the meeting, foreign guests were presented with detailed information about Uzbekistan’s pharmaceutical and cosmetics markets, ongoing sector reforms, the investment climate, and existing business opportunities.

The parties discussed prospects for developing local production, introducing advanced technologies, implementing investment projects, and expanding bilateral cooperation.

Representatives of the South Korean delegation highly praised the reforms being carried out in Uzbekistan’s pharmaceutical and cosmetics sectors and expressed interest in further developing mutually beneficial cooperation.
