Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbekistan has confirmed its participation in the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) 2026, following discussions held in Moscow between Anton Kobyakov, adviser to the President of the Russian Federation and executive secretary of the forum’s organizing committee, and Botirzhon Asadov, Uzbekistan’s ambassador to Russia.

The meeting focused on preparations for Uzbekistan’s participation in SPIEF 2026, scheduled to take place from June 3 to June 6, 2026, as well as on expanding business cooperation between the two countries. The parties also discussed the organization of a Russia–Uzbekistan business dialogue within the framework of the forum and the participation of Uzbek representatives in events organized by the Roscongress Foundation.
