Uzbekistan builds communication lines to Kyrgyz, Kazakh, Tajik, Afghan towns

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Uzbektelecom joint-stock company, a large telecommunication operator whose network covers the entire territory of Uzbekistan, is implementing projects to construct international communication lines in the following directions: Andijon - Osh (Kyrgyzstan), Qongirot - Beyneu (Kazakhstan), Denov - Tursunzoda (Tajikistan) and Termiz - Hayratan (Afghanistan). The construction of a fibre optic communication line had been completed in the area of Termiz - Hayratan (Afghanistan), and transmission system equipment had been delivered and commissioned. Construction work has been completed in some other directions as well.
