Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — The first shipment of Uzbek-made electrical products under the Premier brand has been delivered to Aleppo, Syria, the Dunyo News Agency reported. The delivery consisted of air conditioners, refrigerators and washing machines valued at US$90,000.

The export delivery resulted from agreements between Premier Electrotech, a joint venture located in Tashkent region, and the Syrian company Kalash Trading. A supply contract worth a total of US$5 million was signed following a visit to Tashkent by the head of the Syrian company, Ahmad Kalashi.

The embassy organized a visit for Ahmad Kalashi to Tashkent in June 2026, leading to the conclusion of the export contract during negotiations.

The initial batch of goods was dispatched to Syria in July 2026 using two cargo trucks. The shipment arrived safely in Aleppo in line with the agreed terms.

The delivery was conducted via an alternative transit corridor traversing Turkmenistan, Iran, Azerbaijan and Türkiye. The entire route from dispatch to arrival at the destination took 20 days.
