Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — The Ministry of Digital Technologies of the Republic of Uzbekistan and BBC Studios have announced the launch of a dedicated section on BBC.com featuring branded content on the country's digital transformation, according to the Ministry of Digital Technologies of Uzbekistan.
The new section represents the next stage of the international communication platform "Uzbekistan. Digitally Yours," continuing a campaign previously launched on BBC News. The platform is designed to offer continuous coverage of how digital transformation impacts Uzbekistan's economy, public services, education, entrepreneurship, and international competitiveness.
Produced by BBC StoryWorks Commercial Productions and DARS FILMS, the international communication campaign includes television broadcasts, digital features, and social media content tailored for a global audience. The project utilizes visual storytelling to explain complex technological developments, showcasing ongoing changes in Uzbekistan alongside future growth directions.
Minister of Digital Technologies of Uzbekistan Sherzod Shermatov stated that digital transformation is a cornerstone of the country's long-term development, adding that the partnership with BBC Studios allows Uzbekistan to present itself to an international audience as an innovative, open, and future-oriented nation.
Sarah Damak, Director for Europe and Central Asia at BBC Studios, noted the importance of authentic storytelling in helping international audiences understand complex processes of change, stating that the new hub creates a permanent destination to explore Uzbekistan's digital progress.
