Uzbekistan Approves Procedure for Gas Cylinder Distribution
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Government of Uzbekistan has approved an administrative regulation governing the provision of state services for supplying residential households with domestic gas cylinders.
According to the document, the service will be delivered by an authorized operator through Public Service Centers or the Unified Portal of Interactive Public Services (EPIGU). Eligible recipients include individuals living in areas not connected to the natural gas supply network.
After an application is submitted, the operator enters the relevant data into the “E-gaz” information system on the same day. Within one working day, the information provided by the applicant is verified.
Subsequently, within no more than three working days, specialists conduct an on-site inspection to assess the feasibility of providing the household with a gas cylinder. Based on the results, an inspection report is prepared.
If the conclusion is positive, two agreements are signed with the applicant — a temporary use contract for a domestic gas cylinder and a supply contract for liquefied petroleum gas. The documents are signed in two copies.
After the contracts are concluded, a personal account for gas supply is opened for the applicant via Face ID identification. A domestic gas cylinder is then delivered free of charge within 12 working days.
