Uzbekistan appoints new envoy to Turkmenistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- Uzbekistan appointed new Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Uzbekistan to Turkmenistan, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan said.

Akmaljon Kuchkarov has been appointed as new Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Uzbekistan to Turkmenistan.

According to the Uzbek Foreign Ministry, new envoy left for Ashgabat on 16 May 2016.

Prior to appointment, Akmaljon Kuchkarov worked as the Counselor of the Embassy of Uzbekistan to Kazakhstan. At this post, he replaced Javhar Izamov.
