Uzbekistan and Telangana discuss expanding cooperation
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Abdullah Azizov, Director of Uzbekistan’s Agency for the Development of the Medical and Pharmaceutical Industry, met with Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka during a working visit to India.
The parties discussed prospects for further expanding cooperation between Uzbekistan and India in healthcare, pharmaceuticals, investment and industrial development. Particular attention was given to opportunities for strengthening ties between Uzbekistan and the Indian state of Telangana.
Uzbekistan’s Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to India, Sardor Rustambaev, also participated in the meeting.
During the talks, he invited Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka to attend the International Investment Forum to be held in Uzbekistan.
At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides reaffirmed their mutual interest in further developing bilateral cooperation and implementing joint initiatives in priority areas.
