Uzbekistan and Qatar Investigate BioPharma City Projects

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Abdulla Azizov, the Director of the Agency for the Development of the Medical and Pharmaceutical Industry, has held a meeting with Sheikh Mansoor Bin Khalifa Al Thani, an investor and representative of the State of Qatar, and Syed Amer, the Director of the company Toothrocket Labs.

The parties discussed prospects for cooperation in the fields of artificial intelligence, biotechnology, and pharmaceuticals.

During the meeting, the representatives of the Qatari side spoke about their activities, innovative developments, and startup projects based on artificial intelligence technologies. They also highly praised the modern infrastructure, scientific potential, and favorable investment climate created in the BioPharma City pharmaceutical cluster for the implementation of such initiatives.

Abdulla Azizov noted the friendly nature of relations between Uzbekistan and Qatar and emphasized the high level of mutual trust. According to him, the Agency is ready to provide comprehensive support to innovative projects in the fields of artificial intelligence, biotechnology, and pharmaceuticals.

In the opinion of the head of the Agency, the implementation of such initiatives will contribute to the development of the country's pharmaceutical industry and the introduction of modern technological solutions to protect public health.
