Uzbekistan and Oman Discuss New Investment Initiatives

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — The First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, Bahromjon Aloev, held a meeting in Muscat on 1 July 2026 with the Deputy Head of the Oman Investment Authority, Munir Al-Muniri. The parties discussed prospects for expanding investment cooperation and implementing new joint projects.

The talks centered on attracting foreign investment into the economy of Uzbekistan through more efficient utilization of the potential of the Uzbek-Oman investment company, UzOman Capital.

The participants of the meeting also reviewed opportunities for implementing mutually beneficial projects in industry, logistics, agriculture, tourism, the banking and financial sector, and other fields.

In addition, the sides exchanged views on intensifying interaction between the business circles of Uzbekistan and Oman to further develop the bilateral economic partnership.
