Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan considers opening new border checkpoints

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan held a meeting of working groups of Government delegations on the delimitation and demarcation of the Uzbek-Kyrgyz State Border from 2 to 8 May 2018.

According to the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, the parties continued work on describing the remaining sections of the interstate border.

In order to create favorable conditions for residents of the border areas of the two countries, the parties also considered opening new border checkpoints.
