Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A meeting was held in Finland on May 28, 2026, between Uzbekistan’s Minister of Digital Technologies Sherzod Shermatov and the Director of the Finnish Digital and Population Data Services Agency, Mikko Mattinen, to discuss the development of digital public administration and the implementation of artificial intelligence technologies.

The sides considered prospects for expanding cooperation in the field of digital government, improving public services, and using AI in government administration processes.

Special attention was paid to Finland’s experience in providing digital government services, data management, and the application of artificial intelligence in the public sector.

The meeting also included an exchange of views on mutual knowledge sharing, professional training, and the implementation of joint initiatives in the field of digital technologies.
