Uzbekistan Airways transports 631,000 passengers in 1Q

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- Uzbekistan Havo Yollari, a national airline of Uzbekistan, transported 631,000 passengers in the first quarter of 2013, a publication of the Ministry of Economy and State Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan said.

The publication said that the national airline of Uzbekistan transported 631,000 passengers in the first three months of 2013. The figure grew by 10.2% year-on-year.

The report said that average passenger load per airplane rose by 12.3%.

In the result of adopted measures on update and unification of airplanes, Uzbekistan Havo Yollari currently uses nine A-320 planes and two Boeing-767-300ER aircrafts.

Uzbekistan Havo Yollari increased passenger transportation by 14.12% year-on-year to 2.65 million in 2012.
