Syrian Distributor Kalash Trading Plans to Buy Cable From Uzbekistan
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — The electrical industry of the Republic of Uzbekistan continues to expand the geography of its potential export markets. Ahmad Kalash, the head of Kalash Trading Company Ltd, one of the largest distribution companies in Syria, visited the production facilities of the domestic enterprise ProCab. The main purpose of the visit was to gain a detailed acquaintance with the current export potential and technological capabilities of the Uzbekistan electrical industry.
During the organized visit, the foreign partner was shown the entire range of cable and wire products manufactured by the enterprise.
Plant specialists presented the detailed technical characteristics of the products and the applied international quality standards to the Syrian businessman, and familiarized him with the current high-tech manufacturing process. Special attention during the presentation was paid to the domestic brand's successful experience operating in foreign markets and the company's current capabilities to ensure stable export supplies of large volumes of products.
Ahmad Kalash, the head of Kalash Trading Company Ltd, gave a high expert assessment of the quality characteristics of ProCab products. He particularly highlighted the integration of modern manufacturing technologies in the factory workshops, which provides Uzbekistan products with a high level of competitiveness on the international arena.
During subsequent negotiations, the parties substantively discussed the economic and logistical parameters of potential deliveries of Uzbek cable to the Syrian market, and outlined a step-by-step algorithm of actions to build a long-term partnership.
Ahmad Kalash's current visit to the republic is taking place with the direct assistance of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan. The developed business program provides for the Syrian distributor to visit a pool of leading domestic industrial enterprises. These events are aimed at demonstrating the capabilities of Uzbek manufacturers and conducting direct commercial negotiations targeted at concluding new mutually beneficial export contracts.
