Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — A delegation from Uzbekistan’s Namangan Region, led by regional Governor Shavkatjon Abdurazzakov, has visited Italian company Antica Fattoria Caseificio Scalabrini, which specialises in producing Parmigiano Reggiano DOP cheese.
The delegation learned about the company’s production technologies, product quality requirements and storage conditions, the press service of the Namangan regional administration reported.
During the visit, the delegation members examined traditional cheesemaking methods used at the facility and toured specialised storage facilities where the cheese undergoes an extended ageing process.
The visitors were briefed on the stages of cheese maturation and the organisation of the production process. Particular attention was paid to Italian experience in dairy production and compliance with quality standards.
The visit enabled the Namangan delegation to learn about practical approaches used by Italian producers in cheesemaking and product storage.
