Uzbekistan Airways to improve quality of luggage processing

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- Uzbekistan Havo Yollari, a national airline of Uzbekistan, (Uzbekistan Airways) launched a programme of technical assistance on improving quality of luggage processing at airports in Uzbekistan, the press service of the company said.

The programme is implemented in cooperation with Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) and organized by Department on organization of flights and land services and Department on implementation of investment projects of Uzbekistan Havo Yollari.

The programme is directed at improving quality of processing luggage through development action plan and special trainings for personnel of the airline.

From March to September 2012, JICA experts will study technology of work at four international airports – Tashkent, Bukhara, Samarkand and Urgench on processing of luggage in all production stages.
