Uzbekistan Airways to buy Mi-8MTV-1 helicopter

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- Uzbekistan Havo Yollari (Uzbekistan Airways) is planning to purchase a helicopter Mi-8MTV-1.

The airline said that it will buy unique multifunctional helicopter Mi-8MTV-1. The Special Aviation Works Airlines will get the helicopter.

Uzbekistan Havo Yollari will direct over US$12.7 million to purchase the helicopter.

Helicopter Mi-8MTV-1 is unique multifunctional helicopter, which was created based on Mi-8T helicopter. It can transport people (up to 22 passengers) and cargoes (up to 4 tonnes).
