Uzbekistan Airways and Red Wings Launch Direct Flights Between Makhachkala and Tashkent

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Uzbekistan Airways and Red Wings airlines have launched direct flights connecting Makhachkala and Tashkent.

According to the press service of Makhachkala International Airport, flights will operate twice a week: on Mondays at 21:10 via Red Wings flight WZ 4137 and on Thursdays at 11:30 via Uzbekistan Airways flight HY 9732.

The new routes are expected to positively impact passenger traffic. Previously, it was forecast that by the end of 2025, the volume of traffic through Makhachkala Airport would increase by 10% compared to 2024, when passenger traffic reached 2.9 million people.
