Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — In 2024, Uzbekistan’s airports served 13.5 million passengers, a 30% increase compared to 2023, when the figure was 10.41 million, according to Uzbekistan Airports.

The number of take-offs and landings grew by 28.5%, reaching 110,184 operations.

Additionally, new airlines such as Flyadeal, LOT Polish Airlines, Qatar Airways, World2Fly, and Iberojet began operating flights to Uzbekistan in 2024.

The country’s airports handled 95,050 tons of cargo, a 33% increase compared to the same period in 2023.

A new cargo terminal is expected to open in Tashkent soon.

In 2024, the international airports in Urgench and Tashkent were renovated, and modernization work continues at the Andijan airport.
