Uzbek Wrestler Wins Gold at International Tournament in Zagreb

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — The international Zagreb Open Greco-Roman wrestling tournament is currently underway in the Croatian capital, featuring participation from the Uzbekistan national team.

On the first day of competition, the Uzbek team opened its medal count with a gold medal. Aitjan Khalmakhanov emerged victorious in the 67 kg weight category, decisively defeating all his opponents.

Khalmakhanov’s gold medal marks the first award for Uzbek Greco-Roman wrestlers in the current season and underscores the high level of preparation and competitiveness of the national team.
