Uzbek State Tourism Committee hosts meeting with Slovenian envoy

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Deputy Chairperson of the State Committee of Uzbekistan on development of tourism Shakhrukh Sharakhmetov held a meeting with the Ambassador of Slovenia to Uzbekistan with the residence in Moscow (Russia) Primož Šeligo.

The Slovenian delegation received information on historic and cultural heritage of Uzbekistan, reforms and development of tourism sector of Uzbekistan, development of tourism infrastructure.

It was noted that Uzbekistan created favourable conditions for foreign investors.

Ambassador underlined importance of developing bilateral relations in tourism and expressed readiness of Slovenian side to participate in tourism events, organized in Uzbekistan.

The sides reached agreement on continuing efforts to deepening partnership relations between Uzbekistan and Slovenia in the field of promoting national tourism potential and exchanging experience in developing tourism industry.
