FlyArystan Unveils Almaty–Urgench Route to Tour Operators
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — FlyArystan, together with the Arda Khiva tourist complex, held a presentation in Almaty for tour operators from Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan to introduce its new international Almaty–Urgench–Almaty route, the airline said.
Representatives of the Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Almaty also attended the event, underscoring both sides' interest in expanding tourism and business cooperation between the two countries.
During the presentation, FlyArystan outlined the opportunities offered by the new route, while representatives of the Arda Khiva tourist complex presented the tourism potential of the Khorezm Region and special offers for the airline's passengers. The travel packages include accommodation and guided excursions.
The organizers noted that Urgench is located about 30 kilometres from the ancient city of Khiva, whose historic centre is included on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
Earlier this month, FlyArystan and the Arda Khiva tourist complex signed a memorandum of cooperation. The presentation in Almaty marked another step in implementing the agreements reached.
Regular direct flights on the Almaty–Urgench–Almaty route will begin on 3 September. The service will operate twice a week, on Thursdays and Sundays. Tickets are already available through the FlyArystan mobile app, the airline's official website and other booking channels.
