Uzbek Rescuers Evacuate Truck on Kamchik Pass

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Rescuers from the Ministry of Emergency Situations provided assistance to the driver of a truck that went off the road into a roadside ditch on the A-373 highway section crossing Kamchik Pass. No one was injured in the incident.

According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, a report about the incident was received on 24 July at 11:50. The truck travelling on the Tashkent–Fergana Valley route left the road after the driver lost control of the vehicle.

Employees of the Kamchik Special Rescue Department promptly arrived at the scene. Using specialised equipment, they evacuated the truck and moved it to a safe location.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations said no injuries were reported as a result of the incident.
