Uzbek leader congratulates Kyrgyz counterpart on Victory Day

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbek President Islam Karimov has congratulated Kyrgyz President Kurmanbek Bakiyev and the Kyrgyz people on the 64th anniversary of the Great Victory over fascism, the press service of the Uzbek embassy in Kyrgyzstan said on 7 May.

"Dear Kurmanbek Saliyevich, accept my sincere congratulations on the 64th anniversary of the Great Victory over fascism. Taking this opportunity, I wish you good health, success and the Kyrgyz people - peace and prosperity," Islam Karimov’s congratulatory message reads.
