Uzbek government says over 500,000 jobs created January-June

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- About 534,600 new jobs were created in Uzbekistan in the first half of 2009, including 328,000 in rural areas and 52,000 home-based jobs created in cooperation with companies. The government of Uzbekistan announced the figures at the session dedicated to the results of the first half of 2009.
