Uzbek Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov Holds Talks with Head of Temasek Holdings

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 22 June, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Bakhtiyor Saidov, held an official meeting with the Chief Executive Officer of the global investment company Temasek Holdings, Dilhan Pillay Sandrasegara.

During the negotiations, the parties discussed in detail the prospects for establishing bilateral cooperation by attracting leading Singaporean capital.

Within the framework of the meeting, the Uzbek side emphasized that the rich experience of Temasek Holdings in international financial markets, as well as its unique approach focused on long-term development, is fully aligned with the large-scale economic reforms currently being actively implemented in Uzbekistan.

The officials conducted a productive exchange of views, examining in detail the potential for deploying practical cooperation across a range of strategic areas.

The dialogue is intended to lay the foundation for the further integration of Singaporean investment practices into the economic projects of the republic.
