Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- On 14 November, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov held a meeting with the Director of the OSCE ODIHR Matteo Mecacci.
During the negotiations, the parties discussed a broad agenda of bilateral cooperation and identified priority areas, especially aimed at regional economic prosperity.
“We are pleased to meet with OSCE/ODIHR Director Matteo Mecacci. We discussed Uzbekistan’s close cooperation with the OSCE, especially with the ODIHR, and exchanged views on multilateral cooperation within the Organization. We also focused on the large-scale and irreversible reforms being carried out in Uzbekistan. We express our gratitude to Mr. Mecacchi and his team for their constant support of the efforts of the Government of Uzbekistan aimed at creating the best conditions for the prosperity of our people,” noted Bakhtiyor Saidov in his telegram channel.
