Uzbek FM holds talks with outgoing Ukrainian envoy

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- On 22 April 2019, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine Yuriy Savchenko, completing his diplomatic mission to Uzbekistan.

The parties discussed the development prospects of multifaceted Uzbekistan – Ukraine relations, primarily in trade-economic sphere, where there is a significant untapped potential, the Uzbek Foreign Ministry said in a statement.

At the meeting, Ambassador’s long-term activity on strengthening bilateral relations was highly appreciated.

The Ambassador expressed his gratitude for supporting his diplomatic activities in Uzbekistan.
