Uzbek envoy meets official of the Counter-Terrorism Center of Southeast Asia at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Malaysia

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) - On 17 January 2020, the Ambassador of Uzbekistan Ravshan Usmanov in Kuala Lumpur met with the Director General of the Counter-Terrorism Center of Southeast Asia at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Malaysia, Ambassador Chu Teong Ban.

During the talks, Chu Teong Ban praised Uzbekistan’s approaches to deradicalization and re-socialization of vulnerable people, as well as to preventing and combating extremism and terrorism through education and humanism, as well as through the implementation of relevant socio-economic programs.

Interest was expressed in establishing cooperation with Uzbek partners.
