Uzbek customs officers detain 1.8kg heroin

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Customs officers of Uzbekistan detained citizen of Karakalpakstan N. Aknazarov with 1.3 kg of heroin.

Aknazarov was detained at Urgench Airport at customs inspection of Urgench-Tashkent flight. He hide drug in candies.

B. Ashirova was detained in Nukus Airport during the inspection of passengers of Nukus-Moscow flight. Ashirova tried to transport 500 grams of heroin in the collar of her coat.

The criminal procedures were initiated.
