Ferghana and Henan to Strengthen Scientific Ties

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Ferghana Region and the Henan Academy of Sciences from China discussed the development of scientific and innovative cooperation, including joint research, specialist training, and the introduction of modern agricultural technologies.

First Deputy Khokim of Ferghana Region Mirzokhid Ubaydullaev met with a delegation from the Henan Academy of Sciences led by Chief Engineer Gao Yang.

The parties discussed establishing a joint scientific platform, training highly qualified personnel, and implementing innovative projects in the agricultural sector.

Special attention was given to the implementation of digital technologies in agriculture. Discussions focused on the use of smart irrigation systems, artificial intelligence capabilities, and the creation of a laboratory for analyzing mineral composition.

Participants also exchanged views on developing livestock and poultry farming based on scientific approaches.
