Uzbek Business Mission to Hong Kong Targets New Markets
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbekistan has announced a business mission to Hong Kong aimed at expanding export potential and supporting domestic companies in entering international markets. The visit is scheduled to take place from 4 to 7 May 2026.
The program includes direct negotiations with Hong Kong entrepreneurs, as well as visits to leading innovation and business centers in the region. Participants will explore the activities of the Hong Kong Science and Technology Park, established in 2001 to promote technology development and support innovative businesses.
The agenda also features visits to Cyberport, one of the key technology hubs focused on startups, fintech, and the digital economy, and the Hong Kong Productivity Council, which works to enhance business efficiency through modern technologies and innovation.
Special attention will be given to the Northern Metropolis project, a large-scale initiative aimed at developing the northern part of Hong Kong with a focus on technology, industry, and innovation.
As part of the mission, a “Made in Uzbekistan” exhibition will be held, where domestic companies will showcase their products and hold meetings with potential partners.
Organizers note that participation in the mission will provide an important opportunity for entrepreneurs seeking to expand their international presence and strengthen business ties.
