Uzautotrans launches Tashkent–Cholpon-Ata seasonal bus route starting 8 June

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzautotrans Service will launch a seasonal bus route connecting Tashkent and Cholpon-Ata (Lake Issyk-Kul) starting from 8 June, according to the press service of the Ministry of Transport of Uzbekistan.

The route is designed to serve passengers traveling between Tashkent and the popular resort area of Cholpon-Ata during the tourist season.

Buses will depart from the Tashkent bus terminal on even-numbered days, while return trips from Cholpon-Ata will operate on odd-numbered days.

Departures from Tashkent are scheduled for 15:00. Transportation will be carried out using Yutong buses operated by the company.

The ticket price for the route is set at 365,000 soums.

The new service is expected to improve regional connectivity and facilitate travel between Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan’s Issyk-Kul resort zone during the peak summer season.
