The UN flag was raised in Samarkand

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- A ceremony was attended by the Minister of Ecology, Environmental Protection and Climate Change Aziz Abdukhakimov and Executive Secretary of Convention on the Conservation of Migratory Species (CMS) Amy Fraenkel.

Tomorrow the opening ceremony of the 14th meeting of the Conference of the Parties to the Convention on the Conservation of Migratory Species of Wild Animals (CMS COP14) will take place in Samarkand.
