Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- As of 1 July 2020, the total sown area of agricultural crops in all categories of farms amounted to 3.3 million hectares.

According to the State Statistics Committee, farms account for 77.5% of the total sown area.

The largest share of the total sown area was:

Cereals - 48.1%

Industrial crops-33.3%

Forage crops-7.6%

Vegetables - 6.4%

Potatoes - 2.8%

Melons and gourds - 1.8%

The largest share of the total sown area is:

Kashkadarya region - 12.8%

Jizzakh region - 10.8%

Tashkent region - 10.6%

Samarkand region - 10.1%
