Tax Free system for tourists to be introduced at all 11 international airports of Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- The Tax Free system for tourists will soon be introduced at all 11 international airports of Uzbekistan. This was reported by the press service of Uzbekistan Airports JSC.

From 1 January 2023, this system has already been launched at five airports in the country, including Tashkent, Samarkand, Bukhara, Ferghana and Urgench.

Tourists who have made purchases worth at least 1 million soums can use this system to refund the amount of VAT paid on the purchase of certain types of goods, such as souvenirs, fruits and dried fruits, leather and fur products, carpets and textiles.
