Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — More transport services will operate in Bostanlyk district of Tashkent region on weekends and public holidays for residents and tourists traveling to the area’s mountain destinations, Uzbekistan’s Ministry of Transport said.

The additional services are intended to provide more convenient travel for visitors to popular tourist sites in the district.

Routes No. 324M and 325M, which run from Chinorkent railway station to Beldersay via the Amirsoy and Chimgan tourist zones, normally operate with 20 minibuses. Services run from 6 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. at 15-minute intervals, with 86 trips completed each day.

On public holidays and additional weekends, services will start earlier, at 5:30 a.m., while the interval between trips will be reduced to 10 minutes.

On Route No. 324M, minibuses will operate until 10:06 p.m., while Route No. 325M will run until 10 p.m. The number of vehicles will increase to 15 and 16, respectively, bringing the total number of daily trips to 158.

Additional transport will also be provided on bus Route No. 1226, which connects Mashinasozlar metro station in Tashkent with Khumsan village in the Charvak area of Bostanlyk district.

The route normally operates with three buses. On weekends and public holidays, one additional reserve bus will be deployed when necessary.

The increase in transport services is intended to improve access to popular mountain and tourist areas in Bostanlyk district and provide more convenient travel for passengers during periods of higher demand.
