Tashkent Police Investigate Late-Night Horse Riding on Road

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — Tashkent's Main Department of Internal Affairs is investigating an incident after a video circulated on social media showing three men riding horses along a central street in the city's Shaykhantakhur District.

According to the department, the men were riding on the roadway at night. Footage posted online shows the horses galloping in the right-hand lane while the incident was filmed by the driver of a nearby vehicle.

Police identified the individuals involved and summoned them to the Main Department of Internal Affairs over alleged traffic rule violations. The men said they did not intend to repeat such actions in the future.

The department said the case is under the supervision of its leadership, and the investigation is continuing.
