Tajikistan appoints new envoy to Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- President of Tajikistan Emomali Rakhmon appointed new Ambassador of the country to Uzbekistan.

Tajik leader appointed Imomi Sodiq Ashurboyzoda to the post of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Tajikistan to Uzbekistan with his decree from 18 May.

Imomi Sodiq Ashurboyzoda will replace Muzaffar Huseinov at the post of Tajik envoy to Uzbekistan. Mr Huseinov wrapped his mission in Uzbekistan in March 2016.
