Shomurodov Registers Assist in Başakşehir’s Victory

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — İstanbul Başakşehir defeated Karagümrük 2-0 in an away match of the Turkish Championship.

In the first half, Uzbek forward Eldor Shomurodov scored, but the goal was disallowed after a VAR review.

After the break, Shomurodov provided an assist to Ivan Brnić, who opened the scoring.

Shortly afterward, home defender Anıl Yiğit Çınar scored an own goal, consolidating the visitors’ advantage.

The victory earned Başakşehir three points, with Shomurodov once again playing a key role for his team.
