Shavkat Mirziyoyev arrives on a working visit to Moscow

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev arrived on a working visit to Moscow on 8 May.

At Vnukovo International Airport, Shavkat Mirziyoyev was met by Acting Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Denis Manturov and other officials.

On 8 May, the President of Uzbekistan will take part in the anniversary meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council. Uzbekistan is an observer in this organization.

On 9 May, Shavkat Mirziyoyev will take part in ceremonial events marking the 79th anniversary of Victory in World War II.

The head of Uzbekistan will also hold a number of bilateral meetings.
