Several flights diverted to alternate airfields due to fog in Tashkent

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- Due to unfavorable weather conditions (fog), restrictions on the reception of aircraft were introduced at Tashkent airport from 02:34 local time. 

Several flights were redirected to alternate airfields. This was reported by the press service of Uzbekistan Airports.

The following flights landed at Samarkand airport:

- HY-670 Novosibirsk - Tashkent airline Uzbekistan Airways, landing at 03:52 local time;

- HY-9614 Moscow - Tashkent airline Uzbekistan Airways, landing at 04:01 local time;

- HY-614 Moscow - Tashkent of Uzbekistan Airways, landing at 04:06 local time;

- HH-5522 Jeddah - Tashkent airline Qanot Sharq, landing at 04:22 local time;

- 5P-362 Medina - Tashkent of Panorama Airways, landing 04:52 local time;

- TK-364 Istanbul - Tashkent of Turkish Airlines, landing 06:09 local time.

The following flights landed at Bukhara airport:

- HY-602 Moscow - Tashkent airline Uzbekistan Airways, landing at 04:59;

- HY-336 Jeddah - Tashkent of Uzbekistan Airways, landing at 05:35 local time.

Navoi Airport accepted the following flights:

- HY-9658 Ufa - Tashkent airline Uzbekistan Airways, landing at 04:38 local time;

- HY-274 Istanbul - Tashkent, Uzbekistan Airways, landing at 04:06 local time.

All aircraft that went to alternate airfields returned to Tashkent airport between 08:00 and 09:30. With the exception of the Panorama Airways plane, which for technical reasons is located at Samarkand airport. All 355 passengers will be transported to Tashkent by ground transport.
