Sales of GM Uzbekistan in Russia drops by 37% in Jan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- Sales of automobiles of GM Uzbekistan in Russia fell by 37% year-on-year in January 2016 to 1,269 units, the statement of the Automobile Manufacturers Committee of the Association of European Businesses said.

Share of GM Uzbekistan in Russian market made up 1.6% in January 2016 against 1.7% in the same period of 2015, the committee said.

In January 2016, GM Uzbekistan claimed the 16th place on sales of automobiles in Russia.

Gentra, produced at GM Uzbekistan, entered to the Top-25 of the best-selling cars in the reporting period. The model claimed the 23rd place. GM Uzbekistan sold 958 cars of Gentra model in Russia in January 2016.
