S7 Airlines plane makes an emergency landing at Urgench airport

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) -- The plane of the Russian airline Siberia, performing flight SB-I3313 on the Moscow-Karshi route, at 01:42 made an emergency landing at the Urgench international airport.

The reason for boarding was one of the passengers - a citizen of Tajikistan, who needed emergency medical assistance. According to preliminary data, the man had a suspicion of appendicitis. The crew decided to land the aircraft at the nearest airport.

After landing at the airport, the passenger was picked up by an ambulance and hospitalized in a medical facility in Urgench for assistance.

The S7 Airlines plane took off for Karshi at 02:31 local time.
