The roundtable was organized within the exhibition-forum Best Soft Uzbekistan 2010. The event is considered by the Committee on information and communication technologies of the Legislative Chamber of Oliy Majlis and the Uzbek Agency for Communication and Information.
Representatives of software industry, government, parliament and others participated at the roundtable, UzACI said.
During the roundtable, the participants discussed issues of improving legislation in IT industry, combating computer piracy, strengthening protection of data bases, optimization of tax, customs and administrative regulation in the industry.
