Prime Ministers of Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan discuss incident at the border

Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov and Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Sapar Isakov held a telephone conversation today and discussed the incident on the Uzbek-Kyrgyz border, which resulted in the death of a citizen of the Kyrgyz Republic.
According to the press service of the Government of Uzbekistan, Aripov and Isakov discussed the incident that took place yesterday, on 7 April, on the Uzbek-Kyrgyz border, which resulted in the death of a citizen of the Kyrgyz Republic M.F.M. (born in 1984).
The parties agreed that on Monday, on 9 April, a meeting will be held at the level of heads of border services of the two countries, as well as other relevant departments.
The joint working group will conduct a thorough investigation of the incident and report on the results in the near future.
